Mailboxes and mailbox groups tab

Introduction​

This page describes the Mailboxes and groups tab of the Address book. It explains the three sections available on this tab — Mailboxes, M365 groups, and Mailbox groups — and describes how to view details and filter or sort the listed objects.

Tab overview​

The Mailboxes and groups tab displays all mailboxes, M365 groups (processing both the group mailbox and its members), and mailbox groups (processing only members of the selected mailbox group) that were processed by the backup job. The tab is divided into three sections: Mailboxes, M365 groups, and Mailbox groups.

Mailboxes​

The Mailboxes section lists all user mailboxes processed by the backup job. It contains the following columns:

  • Display name – the username associated with the email address.
  • Email – the email address of the user processed by the backup job. Users are listed under their respective email address in contentACCESS Portal.
  • Storage – the storage assigned to the objects. Storage is automatically assigned during the initial backup job run.

To view detailed information about a mailbox, select it and click Show details from the context menu. A window opens showing mailbox details, the groups of the selected mailbox and backup and index statistics.

M365 groups​

The M365 groups section lists all Microsoft 365 groups processed by the backup job. It contains the following columns:

  • Display name – the name of the M365 group.
  • Email – the email address of the group mailbox processed by the backup job. Groups are listed under their respective address in contentACCESS Portal.
  • Storage – the storage assigned to the objects. Storage is automatically assigned to the group mailbox during the initial backup job run.

To view detailed information about an M365 group mailbox, select it and click Show details from the context menu. A pop-up window shows the group mailbox details, list of members, and statistics.

Mailbox groups​

The Mailbox groups section lists all mailbox groups processed by the backup job. It contains the following columns:

  • Display name – the name of the mailbox group.
  • Group DN – the distinguished name of the group processed by the backup job.

To view additional details about a group, select it, open the context menu (…), and click Show details. A pop-up window opens with further information about the selected group.

Sorting and filtering​

Sorting is available on both the Mailboxes and Mailbox groups tabs. Click a column name (Display name, Email, or Group DN) to sort items in ascending or descending order.

Entries can also be filtered by:

  • entering filter text in the Display name, Email, or Group DN columns;
  • selecting a storage from the dropdown menu.
