PST import job description

Introduction​

The Email PST import job processes PST files and imports their contents into the system. During execution, the job reports progress using a set of numbers and descriptions that indicate how many PST files and emails were processed, skipped, or failed.

This page explains the meaning of each number and description shown in the progress of an Email PST import job.

Progress descriptions​

The following table describes the numbers and descriptions displayed during the job's progress:

x emails importedx emails were imported from the PST files.
(x folders skipped)x folders were skipped from processing because of folder exclude settings.

(x failed)x emails failed to import.
