Task runner
Introduction
The Task runner job processes server tasks created from the contentACCESS Portal. These tasks include operations such as:
- Export to Zip
- Export to PST
- Recovery
- Mark/unmark for/from delete
- Legal hold
This page describes how the Task runner job is deployed, the configuration it requires, and how its schedule can be adjusted.
Deployment and database requirements
During the installation of contentACCESS, the Task runner job is automatically deployed for all tenants. It uses the tenant database to store tasks, so each tenant must have a tenant database configured.
Configure the resource storage
In System -> Services -> System, the user must set the Resource storage.
Configure the schedule
The schedule for the Task runner job is set to 2 minutes by default, but it can be changed. The user can choose a previously configured schedule or create a new one.
