Virtual drive is still appearing after the uninstall

Introduction

This troubleshooting page addresses an issue where the Virtual Drive remains visible on the system after it has been uninstalled.

Problem

The Virtual Drive continues to appear even though it has already been uninstalled.

Solution

Restart the Windows system. After the restart, the Virtual Drive should no longer appear.
