Teams archive

Teams archive plugin of contentACCESS is used for archiving private chat messages, messages of selected Teams and their channels (including message replies, reactions, files, all tabs, etc.), full SharePoint content and also permissions. The archived items can be later viewed in contentACCESS Portal.

_Important:_Teams archive/Teams chat archive jobs are not able to archive conversations with external participants coming from a different Microsoft Entra tenant.
We recommend using Teams compliance archive job for processing these conversations with external participants.

When configuring Teams archive for the first time, the user needs to activate it. After successful activation, the Settings of the Teams archive get displayed.
