Introduction
The contentACCESS Outlook forms enable archived email items to open transparently in Outlook. When the forms are installed correctly, users can open archived messages through an HTML shortcut without noticing a difference between the original email and the archived version.
The forms preserve the original archive workflow while making archived emails appear transparent to the user.
Overview
When mailboxes are archived with contentACCESS, the Outlook forms are installed to transparently open archived messages. If the forms are installed correctly, the original email message and the archived shortcut behave as a single item from the user's point of view.
The following contentACCESS Outlook forms are available:
- CA_techarrow.oft – Opens standard archived messages.
- CA_F_techarrow.oft – Opens forwarded archived messages from the mailbox.
- CA_R_techarrow.oft – Opens replied archived messages.
All three forms must be installed for the correct functionality.
The .oft files are included in the contentACCESS installation package under the following folder:
C:\TECH-ARROW\contentACCESS_Package\Setups\Forms\
