Archiving common shares and domain joined workstations

Introduction​

This use case combines the previous two use cases. The company uses a domain where all resources are located and has one or more file shares for storing common documents. At the same time, users store some important files locally on their workstations.

Solution​

From an RFA perspective, this solution combines use case 1: Archiving common shares and use case 2: Archiving user workstations - domain joined.

The solution requires:

  • RFA to be deployed on a common archive server.
  • The authentication proxy to be installed and configured.
  • RFA clients to be deployed to the workstations through GPO.
