Introduction

The contentACCESS Virtual Drive provides access to archived files through a virtual file system that presents data as files and folders on a local virtual disk. The virtual drive does not physically exist on the computer but provides access to archived content through the file system.

The contentACCESS Virtual Drive, developed by TECH-ARROW, serves as an access point between end users and the contentACCESS archive. Archived files can be reopened or restored using shortcuts. These shortcuts replace the original files in their original locations and link to the corresponding archived items in the contentACCESS archive.

The virtual drive can also be shared with other users in the company, allowing them to browse and access archived files when needed.

This guide walks you through the installation process of the contentACCESS Virtual Drive.
